Living Oceans Foundation Data Request Form
The Khaled bin Sultan Living Oceans Foundation is committed to advancing marine conservation by sharing the scientific data collected during our research missions, including the Global Reef Expedition—one of the largest coral reef studies ever conducted. We provide access to coral reef habitat maps, bathymetric maps, and field data from reef surveys around the world. This includes data on coral and benthic cover, fish diversity and abundance, the extent of mangrove and seagrass habitats, and key indicators of coral reef health.
We encourage the use of our data for conservation purposes and welcome opportunities to collaborate on projects that support the protection and restoration of tropical coastal marine ecosystems—including coral reefs, mangrove forests, and seagrass meadows. Data is shared at the discretion of the Foundation and may require proper attribution. If you are requesting data for commercial use, please note that licensing fees may apply. To request data, please complete the form below.
