We are excited to announce the appointment of Kholoud AlDosari to the Board of Directors of the Khaled bin Sultan Living Oceans Foundation (KSLOF). Kholoud’s wealth of expertise and proven leadership make her a remarkable addition to our mission of protecting, restoring, and conserving coral reefs and tropical marine ecosystems worldwide.

A Proven Leader in Strategic Development

Kholoud AlDosari currently serves as the CEO of Northern Trust Saudi Arabia, where she oversees the strategic growth and operations of the firm’s asset servicing business. With over 19 years of experience spanning management consultancy, corporate governance, and strategic investments, Kholoud has built an impressive career delivering meaningful impacts for both public and private organizations at local and global levels.

Driving Positive Change

Throughout her career, Kholoud has consistently showcased a strong commitment to innovation and collaboration. As Executive Director of the CFA Society Saudi Arabia, she led mentorship programs that empowered emerging professionals while significantly enhancing stakeholder engagement and growing membership. Her work at the Financial Academy, an education initiative of the Saudi Central Bank and Capital Market Authority, showcased her ability to build strong partnerships and drive sustainable growth.

A Personal Connection to the Ocean

While Kholoud’s professional background is rooted in finance and governance, her personal connection to the ocean runs deep. She has a lifelong love for the sea and fishing, which has inspired a profound appreciation for marine ecosystems. This passion drives her commitment to make the conservation of marine resources a lasting priority for the future.

At COP16 in Riyadh, Kholoud AlDosari represented KSLOF alongside our President, HRH Princess Hala bint Khaled bin Sultan. The event highlighted the vital connections between land, ocean, and people, with a focus on building climate resilience, protecting marine ecosystems, and supporting coastal communities. Kholoud participated in discussions showcasing the foundation’s impactful initiatives, including mangrove restoration projects and the documentary The Missing Catch, which addresses the pressing issue of overfishing.

As a member of the Board of Directors, Kholoud Aldosari will bring a fresh perspective and valuable expertise to address the pressing challenges of ocean conservation. Her strategic expertise, leadership skills, and personal love for the ocean will play a crucial role in advancing the foundation’s mission to protect marine ecosystems and ensure their resilience for generations to come.
