Turtle swimming around the reef at Farasan Islands Marine Protected Area.

This underwater video of a Turtle Swimming Around the Reef was taken at the Farasan Islands Expedition filming of reef creatures in the Red Sea.

There are more than 15 islands in the Farasan Protected Area that are known to be used by turtles for nesting. From our work on this expedition, we have noted that Al Baglah and Kerah Islands are the most important nesting sites for marine turtles (based upon observations of turtle tracks).
