Eddie Gonzalez

Bio

Eddie Gonzalez holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Geology and Biology from Brown University and he is working on a Masters Degree in Nonprofit Management from Regis University. He recently finished a five-year term on the Board of Directors of the North American Association for Environmental Education (NAAEE) and currently serves on the Board of the Association of Partners for Public Lands (APPL).
After graduating from Brown University, Eddie began conducting science education programs with the American Association for the Advancement of Science focused on getting more nontraditional audiences into the sciences--particularly girls and people of color. He continued this role as an education specialist at World Wildlife Fund, helping to develop middle school biodiversity curriculum, and then at the Water Environment Federation, where he developed training programs in conjunction with the US Environmental Protection Agency Office of Water.
Eddie has a comprehensive background in education, non-profit organizations, governmental agencies, and program management.
