Bio

Erwan Delrieu-Trottin is a PhD student at the Pierre and Marie Curie University (France) working at the CRIOBE lab under the supervision of Serge Planes. His main work focuses on endemism in French Polynesia as this region presents areas of high endemism: the Marquesas archipelago, the Austral archipelago and the Gambier archipelago, all of them with rates of endemism among the highest of Indo-Pacific, only surpassed by Hawaii, Easter Island, and the Red Sea. He is interested in studying from an evolutionary point of view how and when these species became endemic, but also in assessing their genetic diversity and demographic history using genetic tools.
